I was afraid of the "Rose" lampshade. Customer service was excellent about communicating - another shade was unavaialable with the lamp. I almost told them to ship it without. Got the lamps very quickly and the shade is fine. If it's rose, it's very low key and blends in with the browns in the room. These were exactly what I was looking for and not readily available other places at this price. I love them!

This purchase arrived within 5 days of order. What the picture doesn't show is the great coloration of the base. The very heavy slate base has shades of teal, gray and gold. The shade is cinnamon with a touch of gold. Were the shade cloth instead of paper it would be perfect. We are happy with it nonetheless and it is a great value.
